YOUNG MA-HAS-KAH Chief of the Ioways. From the 1836-44 folio edition of McKenney & Hall's Indian Tribes of North America. Full folio sheet measures about 14" x 20". Published by F.W. Greenough in 1838. Hand colored stone lithograph finished by J.T. Bowen. VERY GOOD condition. There is very light offsetting on the verso (back), but it does not show through to the front, unless you view it up to a light source. There is the slightest evidence of toning in the margins. There are a few tiny black ink specks in the margins. Oppenheimer sells this print for $2800.00. I have taken condition into account and my wholesale price is $1250.00, which includes fully insured flat UPS Ground shipping to the US.
